The Fitero Spa is located Fitero, 24 km from Tudela and one hour from Logroño and Zaragoza.
Description of the Balneario
The spa has several hydrothermal pools: two outdoor pools surrounded by nature and an indoor active pool with a constant temperature of 34ºC.
The outdoor hydrothermal pools are for collective use and are perfect for enjoying the waters and swimming in a relaxing way.
The indoor thermal circuit has a thermal water pool with jets, bubble beds, wet sauna with aromas, a contrast shower, and heated lounge chairs.
You must wear rubber slippers for the water and a swimsuit.
You can bring a bathrobe or rent one at the spa for more comfort.
It is necessary to bring a towel for the use of the outdoor pools.

Type of waters
The waters of Fitero have been used since Roman times, in the second century B.C. It was donated to the Monastery of Fitero, sacked in the sixteenth century, and used as a hospital during the War of Independence, until 1846 when the new baths were built. For a time the spa was known as the Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer Spa because the poet moved there assiduously.
The chloride, sulfate, sodium, calcium, calcium, radioactive and hyperthermal waters of strong mineralization emanate from 2 springs at a temperature of 52 ºC.

The Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer has 212 rooms (143 doubles, 57 singles, and 12 doubles with lounge and private terrace. A total of 4 rooms are fully adapted for people with reduced mobility). Family rooms can be accommodated and cribs are available on request. It is surrounded by nature.
This Virrey Palafox Hotel has 63 rooms (48 doubles, 7 singles, and 8 doubles with a living room, and 1 room is fully adapted for people with reduced mobility). This hotel has a spectacular viewpoint and inside are the ancient Roman baths.
