Hydration

What is hydration?

Well-hydrated skin is key to healthy skin that looks beautiful, soft, youthful, smooth, and glowing.

If you want to prevent wrinkles and spots, dark circles and bags, crow's feet, and other marks that indicate the passage of time, one of the best things you can do is maintain good hydration throughout life.

The better you cleanse and moisturize your face (and body) when you're young, the healthier, prettier, and better conditioned it will be when you reach adulthood and middle age (and the less time and money you'll have to spend on its care and maintenance). As easy - and as hard!!! - as that time.

If the skin is well hydrated, it will be easier to maintain its elasticity and prevent the appearance of wrinkles.

Think that only in the corneal layer of the skin, its most superficial layer, there is between 10% and 20% water; but that there must also be water in the dermis if you want your skin to be well-toned and strong.

If the water level drops below 10 percent, the skin becomes soft, loses luster and becomes weaker to external agents.

If this happens, its decline is accentuated and aging starts to become more rapid.

Think also that, the more it deteriorates and the worse you treat your skin, the harder it will be to recover it later.

That is why it is important to take care of skin hydration during all stages of life, which is easier than it seems but requires constancy.

To have well-hydrated skin it is advisable to have a healthy and balanced diet (no need to eat especially expensive products, superfoods or strange things, fruits, and vegetables will be your best allies!

And excesses, alcohol, and tobacco are your greatest enemies), drinking water during the day (use the 8 glasses rule as a general rule), doing regular exercise, and using good moisturizing products (and, above all, remembering to remove your makeup always before going to sleep).

Moisturizing cosmetics

Moisturizing cosmetics don't have to be expensive.

There are those with an excellent quality-price ratio, where the price is very low and the quality very good.

The important thing is that you find the one that you like and that suits your needs (depending on your skin type, its condition, your activity, age, etc.).

We then give you a few ideas and a tip: remember that both facial moisturizers and body moisturizers moisturize more and do more effects if, previously, have been well cleansed and/or exfoliated.

Don't forget it! And, if you have any doubts about it, take a look at the sections on facial cleansing and exfoliation, where we talk about this topic in-depth and in detail.
