Description of the Balneario
The Aquadome, The Mountain Spa at H2otel Congress & Medical Spa is a 100% wellness center that offers a unique experience. With water as a regenerating element, it provides sensations of well-being, relaxation, and balance. It is the first Mountain Spa in Portugal and one of the largest in Europe, surrounded by the stunning landscape of Serra da Estrela. It offers thermal experiences, certified aesthetic treatments, a modern gym and indoor and outdoor pools.
The Aquatermas space at H2otel Congress & Medical Spa is a place dedicated to treatments with natural mineral water, focused on health, prevention, and wellness. Prior to treatments, a medical evaluation is performed to customize the therapeutic approach. Termas de Unhais da Serra offers a free initial consultation and various equipment, such as thermal pool, hot tubs and saunas, among others.
Aqualudic is the largest and most innovative leisure area in the country. It consists of a Celtic Circuit that integrates hammam, sauna, sauna with chromotherapy, Turkish bath, contrast shower, ice fountain, a small lagoon, a large lagoon (both with waterfalls, jacuzzis, jets, etc.), outdoor pools (cold water for adults and children) and a relaxation area with views of the valley.

The H2otel Gym is integrated in the Aquadome and its location in the complex allows the practice of physical exercise while enjoying privileged views: the Alforfa Glacier Valley, the village of Unhais da Serra and the pools of the Aqualudic. It is a gym dedicated to all types of training, such as Cardiofitness, Strength Training, Localized Training, Functional Training, HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training, among others. The gym has a Personal Trainer service and is equipped with Kinesis.
The clinic has a team specialized in hydrology, nursing, physiotherapy and nutrition. It offers nutrition consultation for dietary reduction and promotion of healthy habits, adapted to each person. The consultation includes analysis of the clinical history, nutritional anamnesis and bioimpedance and anthropometric evaluation. In addition, we offer personalized programs of Integrated Weight Management recognized by the ESPA. We also offer Traditional Chinese Medicine consultation, with exhaustive diagnosis and treatment based on TCM principles, which complements conventional medicine with specific and differentiating competencies in pain control and disease prevention.
