General description
The Spa is located in the municipality of Liérganes, one of the most beautiful in Cantabria. It was built between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries so it highlights the beautiful classicist architecture of its building.
In addition to the benefits of the thermal and mineral-medicinal waters, you will find comfortable accommodation (in the Gran Hotel and the Hotel Termas), as well as restaurant services and a wide range of treatments.

During your stay at the spa, you can't miss the Palacio de Elsedo, the Fluviarium (Liérganes ecomuseum), the Cabárceno Nature Park (5 km from the spa), the Soplao Cave, the Ethnographic Museum of the Villas Pasiégas and La Ferrería de Cades.

Description of the Balneario
At Balneario de Liérganes you can enjoy two different circuits
On the one hand, the Balnea thermal circuit, features dry and wet thermal baths, a tropical shower, a Jacuzzi, footbaths, a space for relaxation with aromatherapy (application of essential oils on the back and back of the legs), and a rest time in warm armchairs with an infusion to promote rehydration. It has a duration of 75 minutes.

The Salneario de Liérganes is fed by the spring of the Fuente Santa, in which flow sulfurized calcium-sulfate waters, of strong mineralization. These waters were declared of public utility in the year 1869, although the locals enjoyed them long before.
