Description of the Spa
The spa Domus Aurea is inspired by ancient Roman baths and Arab baths. The circuit takes approximately 2 hours.
The tour begins with an active pool with different jets, goosenecks and waterfalls, a volcano and several bubble beds.
Then it continues through the pediluvium (path of boulders with pressurized water at different temperatures), five bithermal showers, and Roman baths:a sudatio (a stone sauna combining heat at about 40º and relative humidity at 60%), a frigidarum (cold water pool), the caldarium (hot water pool) and the tepidarium (warm water pool).
Then, you'll continue on to the ancient Arab Baths with a jacuzzi, a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath or hammam, and an igloo (ice waterfall).
Finally, this journey ends in the Villa of the Mysteries, a relaxation room with hot loungers, chromotherapy, starry sky, aromatherapy, and music therapy.
