General description
The El Safareig Thermal Baths are a public space where you can enjoy a bath with the therapeutic and relaxing properties of the mineral-medicinal water that springs in Caldes de Montbui.
The equipment takes advantage of the structure of an old thermal water washhouse built in the mid-twentieth century.
General admission is €7.00 (reduced: €4.50 for children under 16, youth card holders, students, retired persons, and the unemployed).
They also have a special pass that includes a bath and a guided tour of the thermal circuit through the old town.
Description of the Balneario
The ticket includes:
- One hour of stay in the facilities.
- Bathing time is limited to 30/40 minutes.
- Remember to be punctual, you enter and leave at the hour on the dot.
- If you arrive late, you must be on time, you lose bathing time as the stay is not extended and you leave at the next hour.
It is recommended to come changed from home although there are changing rooms with coin lockers (you will have to queue). You can also change on the terrace or in the toilet.
It is necessary to consult a doctor in case you have an illness or are pregnant.
Access is by appointment only and the baths have a maximum capacity of 15 people. (You can book and purchase the ticket through the web safareigtermal.cat, paying by card. In case of a problem, call 618796725, or send an email to [email protected]).
A swimsuit or bikini and bathing cap are mandatory.
You can go barefoot or with disposable latex booties.
At the reception, you can buy disposable towels, bathing cap and swimsuits.
It is mandatory to shower before bathing.
Public / common areas
- Open Wednesday to Saturday from 10am to 3pm, 4pm to 6pm and 7pm to 10pm.
- Sundays and holidays, open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 4 to 6 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Food and Beverages
There is no restaurant, bar or cafeteria and no food or beverages are allowed inside.
