General description
The Benassal Spa is located in Fuente En Segures, 2 km from the center of Benasal, in the Alto Maestrazgo of Castellón.
It is fed by a source of mineral-mineral waters known since the 16th century, it was built in 2011.
Description of the Balneario
The spa overlooking the mountains has three floors, two dedicated to thermalism and a third to equipment.
The second floor houses the thermal circuit with thermal pools, pressure jets, circular showers, footbaths, saunas, vaporarium, whirlpools, circular showers, "Vichy" water showers, aerosols, reception, changing rooms, lockers.
On the second floor are the medical and physiotherapy offices, treatment rooms, and activity rooms (pilates, yoga, etc.).

Type of waters
The waters of Benassal emanating from the spring of La Fuente in Segures were declared of public utility in 1828 for their therapeutic value for kidney ailments. They are oligo-metallic waters of weak mineralization, rich in calcium and bicarbonate.
Its use dates back to the 16th century although it was not until the 18th century that the first "water users" began to arrive.
