Located in the parish of Longroiva, municipality of Mêda, in a transition zone between the natural regions of the edge of the plateau and the upper Douro.

Type of waters
The water is mineralized, sulfurous, bicarbonated, and sodic, with an alkaline reaction.
They are indicated for ailments of the respiratory system (sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, chronic pharyngitis, otitis, asthma, and chronic bronchitis) and rheumatic and musculoskeletal (osteoarthrosis, inflammatory rheumatisms such as ankylosing spondylitis, arthritis, and abarticular rheumatisms).
