After extensive remodeling, the Mounted Golf Course reopened its doors in September 2006. It is presented asone of the most beautiful and competitive golf courses in Portugal, standing out for its ability to host official competitions and golf vacations.
The golf course has 18 holes and has a par of 72, with a length of 6,366 meters. It is distinguished by its environment dominated by vineyards and its flat morphology in the region, developing in a cork oak forest where streams and lakes give it uniqueness. The design of the course offers large greens and holes with special features, highlighting the 18th hole where the green is located on an island.
Outside the hotel, guests can explore the privileged area in which the resort is located: the wonderful beaches of Setúbal, take a dolphin-watching tour on the Sado River, enjoy a day of fishing on a boat, practice stand-up paddle or enjoy a romantic sunset on a deserted beach accompanied by sparkling wine and seafood.
Visitors can take a tour of the Sado Estuary Natural Reserve for bird watching, discover the natural beauty of the Serra da Arrábida and enjoy a visit and wine tasting at a local winery. The resort offers 42 superior rooms of 25 m2 and 48 standard rooms of 18 m2, all with views of the golf course, lake, balcony, private bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioning, LCD television, minibar, and amenities package (coffee maker, mugs, tea and coffee) and wireless internet.
In addition, the Montado Hotel & Golf Resort has 3 suites. Each suite offers an area of 45 m2, distributed in a living room with bedroom, dressing room and two bathrooms, one with bathtub and one with hydromassage cabin. The suites are equipped with air conditioning, LCD TV, wireless internet, minibar, and amenity package including coffee maker, cups, tea, and coffee.

The All in One Restaurant, located at the Montado Hotel & Golf Resort, offers new gastronomic sensations through its menu. Diners can savor regional and international dishes while enjoying a panoramic view of the lake. Highlights include Massinha de cherne con camarão (noodles with cherne and shrimp) and Coxa de pato com redução de Moscatel (duck thigh with Moscatel reduction). Dessert lovers can't miss the Leite creme queimado (burnt Catalan cream) and the Doce conventual (conventual sweet), true temptations.
