With more than two thousand years of history, the Termas de São Pedro do Sul already had numerous cases of agüistas.
They are the largest thermal baths in Portugal and are among the largest and best in Europe.
These medicinal waters are advised by several doctors. They significantly improve mobility and decrease pain.
With an annual average of 16,000 visitors, the Termas de São Pedro do Sul combine the unique properties of its waters with the splendid nature that surrounds the thermal city.

The Termas has two thermal spas - the classic Raiha Donha Amelia Spa and the spacious Don Alfonso Henriques Spa, both moderately equipped and with qualified technical equipment.
Type of waters
The waters are sulfurous, highly mineralized, sodium bicarbonate, fluoridated and very rich in silica.
They are indicated for respiratory system ailments (asthma, chronic bronchitis, chronic pharyngitis, allergic rhinitis and sinusitis) and rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases (otosing arthritis, non-acute phase, rheumatoid arthritis - non-acute phase, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatic fever - non-acute phase, fribromyalgia and osteoarthrosis).
