General description
The Salugral Termal Resort is an innovative hotel-spa complex of mineral-medicinal waters in the heart of the Ambroz Valley,at the foot of the Silver Route.
It is synonymous with relaxation, health, gastronomy, and leisure: a global space to cultivate physical and mental well-being.
It is located in a 75,000 m2 estate in the historic municipality of Hervás (Cáceres). The town has a Jewish quarter declared a historic-artistic site in 1969, one of the best preserved of the Network of Jewish Quarters in Spain. This legacy comes to life in the festival of the Conversos where the expulsion of the Jews in the 15th century is recreated.
The C.I. del Ferrocarril and the Perez Comendador-Lerous and Car and Classic Motorcycles museums are other recommended visits.
The El Salugral spa is also the perfect enclave to discover one of the most beautiful natural corners of all Extremadura. The valley consists of 8 municipalities, 7 natural pools scattered throughout the territory, and dozens of walking routes.

Description of the Balneario
The Spa is 50 meters from the hotel. It was inaugurated in 2006. It consists of a heated hydro active pool with jets (goosenecks, duck's beak, countercurrent swimming, waterfall, air volcano, and water and air jets at different heights).
In summer you can use the outdoor swimming pool and the outdoor jacuzzi and solarium.
The spa has its own line of cosmetics.

Type of waters
The waters of the spa are mineral-medicinal and come from the spring of the old spa (declared of public utility in 1889) at 17 degrees.
The waters are highly mineralized, bicarbonated, lithic, fluorinated, and sodium sulfate.
They are indicated for rheumatism, allergic processes and respiratory conditions.
