General description
It is the largest thermal area in Ourense. It has a thermal station (Termas de Outariz) and two free thermal areas: Pozas de Outariz and Burga de Canedo (each on one side of the connecting walkway)
The paid area, which is called Termas de Outariz (like the whole) has 11 outdoor and 3 indoor hot springs, organized in two circuits: a Celtic circuit, with stone hot springs, and a Zen circuit, inspired by Japanese culture, called Onsen. It also has cold water pools and a large spa. You can also enjoy beauty treatments: aromatic baths, chocolate therapy, wine therapy, wraps, moisturizing treatments, etc.
As for the free space consists of the Pools of Outariz and Burga de Canedo. Both have restrooms but only Outariz has toilets. The latter has three staggered pools, from the warmest - upper pool, from which the water flows - to the coldest -lower pool-.
The Canedo thermal baths are also divided into three zones: again, the upper one is hotter and the lower one colder.
Description of the Balneario
The Outariz thermal baths have collective baths, individual baths (ofuro), cold thermal baths for thermal shock, gravity jets, water cannons, radiant thermal slab areas, dry heat sauna, and wet heat sauna.
Bathing clothes, towels, and thermal cosmetic products are rented and sold.

- Tuesdays: closed
- Fridays from 10:00 to 02:00.
- Saturdays from 09:00 to 02:00.
- Sundays from 09:00 to 00:00.
Closing of the facilities 30 minutes after the indicated time.
Type of waters
The water flows from two springs at about 60ºC (in the pools it is at temperatures of 38ºC-40ºC) and is weakly mineralized, alkaline, fluoridated, and bicarbonated.
They are beneficial for the skin, rheumatic conditions, and the musculoskeletal system and, like all those mentioned above, ideal for stress or anxiety: a little time in these waters and...worries away!
