General description
The Baños de Albotea Spa, with 5 hectares of land, is located in Cervera del Río Alhama, about 3 km from the center.
The spa began operating in 1851 as a bathhouse. At the beginning of the 20th century, the spa closed its doors and the building was an auxiliary construction of agricultural exploitation.
In the 1990s, the old baths disappeared and the hotel was left in ruins.
Description of the Balneario
The spa has an indoor pool, dry bath, leisure pool, medical office, mud, aerosols, saunas, Turkish baths and a rooftop solarium floor.

Type of waters
The waters of the spa are strongly mineralized hypothermal, sulfurous iodide-magnesian and extremely hard
They are recommended for respiratory conditions (allergies, asthma and chronic bronchitis), rheumatological (degenerative and inflammatory osteoarthritis) and dermatological (eczema and psoriasis).

Hotel's description
The former Lodging Building, with 4 floors, houses the lobby, reception, meeting room for 40 people, toilets, dining room, and 30 rooms. The decoration is late 19th century, in "Belle Epoque" style.
In the other two-story building are 15 rooms facing the valley of the Rio Alhama.
The new Baths Building has three floors and a solarium roof.
