Hyaluronic acid treatments

To understand the benefits and possibilities of facial treatments with hyaluronic acid, it is important to know what this acid is and what it is used for. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a biomolecule of the carbohydrate group, a very abundant polymer in the human body capable of retaining water at a percentage thousands of times its weight. Therefore, hyaluronic acid is a powerful moisturizing tool that can be used in different ways, and that often goes combined or hand in hand with other collagen-based treatments.

Hyaluronic acid serves to hydrate the epidermis and regenerate the internal tissues of the skin, making it healthier, more beautiful and younger-looking (hence it appears as ingredients in many facial treatments and anti-aging or anti-aging cosmetics). Being natural (we have said that it is a biomolecule very present in nature), it is assimilated by the body without any problem.

There are mainly two types of facial treatments with hyaluronic acid. On the one hand, there are the cosmetics with hyaluronic acid focused on deep skin hydration. On the other, the non-invasive aesthetic treatments of hyaluronic acid (injections and infiltrations that do not require surgery), widely used in eyes and mouth, to treat the contour and corner of the lips, and also crows feet.
