The spa building is surrounded by gardens, offering visitors the ideal place for relaxation and tranquility. In addition to the thermal facilities, the Termas de Vizela Wellness Hotel offers accommodation. It was inaugurated by the Tesal Group in 2012.

Type of waters
The waters that feed this spa are hyperthermal (springing at 66ºC), mineralized, sulfurized, sodium, and fluoridated. They are indicated for rheumatic conditions (arthrosis, arthritis, lumbago, etc.), respiratory (chronic sinusitis, chronic laryngitis, asthma, chronic otitis, etc.), dermatological (atopic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, etc.) and pathologies related to stress and anxiety.
In 1873 the Compañía de Baños de Vizela was founded and construction began on the main building of the Termas which was inaugurated in 1881. After many years of abandonment, they reopened in 2012.
